I have been proof-reading The Sharing Space while my partner has created a possible book cover for submission to the publisher. OK, I did the painting but he pulled it all together. I am pleased with the result - but will it be good enough?
Reading the manuscript has helped me to reassert a method in the madness of my changing views and values. It has offered a timely reminder as have C's comments that we are all 'work in progress'.
Received an invitation to a symposium in April. It is the second of two. I had intended to go to the December gathering - but I was far too ill at the time. I am reading through the various papers contributed so far to see if I can add anything or whether all the bases are actually covered and I am not needed. So far I am enjoying the variety of approaches. It will be a challenge to see how we find some core frameworks to assess and correlate the diversity of interests, so we can speak effectively to each other across disciplines.
Snow in horizontal blasts this afternoon and a chilly bite to the air. Now supper and "Salmon fishing in the Yemen"...
