It's Jp . . .
After Jane's last blog she has come down to earth again. With a bump.
There was a high degree of elation, following the new medication, and it seemed that at last she could get going again - so she pushed herself and, because she so desperately wants to be well again, she overdid it, and drained her very meagre resources. She has spent the last couple of days recovering. We now know that progress must be slow, and consolidated. You cannot run from a crawl, you need to learn to walk with a degree of certainty first.
I understand that often people who have had a hip replacement are so thrilled to be able to move freely without pain, perhaps for the first time in years, that they, too, over-exercise and actually extend the recovery period as a result. I think that Jane's situation is somewhat similar - very small steps for some time before she can begin the giant strides.
Be gentle with yourslves, each day is a new day and as you said one step at a time. Our love and prayers surround you both, Gwen

Hang in there Jane
"I feel good inside" hold on to those words when all seems bleak again....they did happen and they will again.
You have had good days or parts of days and there seem to have been more of them than before Christmas...so hold on go with how you are and know it will happen again.
With tonnes of love to a very special friend
